Workshop-tours
For all

For each exhibition, we offer a program of workshop-tours. for children, families and friends, enabling them to discover contemporary art through observation and discussion, as well as hands-on practice. This introduction to contemporary art takes place in two stages: a participatory tour of the exhibition and a group or individual plastic arts workshop. Together, we try our hand at painting, modeling, writing or any other form of plastic experimentation. New workshops are designed around each exhibition, by the mediation team and sometimes even by the artists themselves.

→ For all ages, from 3 upwards. Several Saturdays per exhibition, from 3pm to 4.30pm. Workshop schedule is available here.

For groups

The public outreach team welcomes for workshop-tours schoolchildren from kindergarten to high school, leisure centers, universities, social groups, senior citizens, associations and any other group wishing to discover the art center's exhibitions. This introduction to contemporary art takes place in two stages: a participatory tour of the exhibition and a group or individual plastic arts workshop.

→ For nursery and elementary schools, middle and high schools, day care centers, or any group that would like to extend the tour with an artistic workshop. Tours and workshops available Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Registration here.

CAC en sac

This year, we are inaugurating the “CAC en sac” program: workshops designed by artists for different age groups from childcare center to secondary school are activated in the classroom by educators, for schoolchildren who cannot attend an exhibition or benefit from the “Arbus” program. As part of this program, Joséphine Topolanski offers two workshops: an early-learning workshop for nursery school children and a workshop for elementary school students. Chloé Vanderstraeten is developing a workshop for kindergarten children.
