Drawing on her research around the transmission of knowledge, Yasmina Shahin offers secondary school children in the Cœur d’Essonne area the opportunity to create new narratives around the art centre’s exhibitions. During this residency, the artist and the pupils will reinvent the editorial formats that accompany artworks: visitors' booklets, resources for children, book selections, posters... Through a series of writing and creative workshops, the secondary school children will appropriate the artistic issues in order to devise editorial objects. Somewhere between public outreach tool and space for expression, this residency combines the artist's perspective with the voices of young people to propose new forms that accompany visitors as they discover the exhibitions.

A graduate from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, specialising in printed image, Yasmina Shahin integrated the 2025−2026 class of the postgraduate programme AIMS for artists working within educational settings. She is interested in the transmission of knowledge and storytelling, which she explores through book projects, readings and installations. She collaborates with many organisations, including the RN13BIS network, Palais de Tokyo and the Pernod-Ricard foundation.
